Short Notice but this Sunday 1st March the Rugby Section are hosting a first aid course here at Hawcoat Park (9.30 -4.30). It’s not delivered by the RFU, it’s a generic course covering everything you’d expect with a section on sports related injuries. – The RFU recognise it, I would hope other sporting bodies would too. –
There are two or three places left on the course, free of charge to HP sections. Lunch included.
Please e-mail if you section would like to take up any places.

Morning all
Further to John’s email, (see below), we already have 6 confirmed for the first aid course taking part at the club on 1st March and there are 6 places still available. I would love to fill it with our own members but will go out to Furness/Millom if necessary.
It’s actually a generic first aid course covering everything you’d expect and including a tailored section for game/training related injuries. It’s free to our participants and lunch will be provided (full day 9-4 or 10-5 – exact timing not yet set in stone – could shave up to an hour off with shorter breaks and whizzing through it).
Please let me know in the next day or so if you’d like to take part.
Many thanks
Carmen Sayle
Club Safeguarding Officer
